Free Lesson & Assessment Available

Questions, answered.

Try before you commit: a free first lesson in every subject, a real live class, small groups and clear progress tracking.

Is the first lesson really free?+

Yes. Your child gets a free first lesson in every subject you ask for — not just one taster. There is no obligation and no pressure to continue; it simply lets you see what Mufakkir is like before you decide anything.

Will my child experience a real class before we commit?+

Yes. Your child joins a genuine live class, with real students and a real teacher, rather than a staged demo. You and your child see exactly how lessons run, and how comfortable they feel, before making any commitment.

How big are the groups?+

Small. Groups are generally six students, so every child is known individually, can ask questions freely and is never lost in a large class.

Who looks after my child's overall progress?+

Each student has a Student Learning Lead who holds the bigger picture — how your child is doing across subjects and over time — so progress is never judged one lesson in isolation, and you have one person who understands the whole story.

How will I know how my child is getting on?+

Through our lesson-by-lesson progress diary. After each lesson, what was covered and how your child got on is recorded, so you always have a clear, up-to-date view rather than waiting for a termly report.

Which subjects and year groups do you teach?+

Maths, English and the Sciences for students aged 8–18 across 11+, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level. Our 11+ programme covers Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths.

How do I book, and what happens next?+

Send the short enquiry form. We then have a conversation about your child's needs, arrange the free assessment and lesson, talk through the results in a free consultation, and only once you are happy do we complete full registration.

Where and when do sessions take place?+

Sessions are weekend tuition held at UKIM Masjid Ibrahim & Islamic Centre, 721-723 Barking Rd, London E13 9EU. We will confirm session times with you when you enquire, and you can find the map on our Contact page.

Is my child safe at Mufakkir?+

Safeguarding comes first in every session, with clear policies and a named contact. Read our full approach on the Safeguarding page.

Is Mufakkir only for Muslim students?+

No. Mufakkir is Muslim-founded and rooted at UKIM Masjid Ibrahim, and it is open to everyone.
